Customer Reviews

"This was a nice little restaurant. Service was so friendly and food was decently priced and tasty! Fresh and good southern sweet tea!"

- Melody E.

"Grilled chicken salad, placed the cheese in a pile and the hot chicken on top ,melted all the cheese into a big glob that is not edible. I want a salad not a melted cheese ball"

- Gary F.

"Small town dinner. Good food, good prices. Country cooking, nice staff, a few other food options if you don't like good southern cooking (not sure why because southern food is the best). You will not leave hungry."

- HeyWoo

"This is a good country diner in Marshall, NC. Not too far from my home. I've eaten here before and tonight was no different in the kind staff, the good food and and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of locals who eat here more often than I do and have no problem striking up a conversation with you. I had the grilled whitefish sandwich with fried okra and the okra was not overly greasy and the bum was toasted just right. Give them a try, you'll feel right at home and enjoy the food. Last thing, due to supplier issues everyone has around the world, their menu changes frequently. The pictures below tell the story. Bon appetite !"

- Jenny J.

"We had breakfast the eggs were cooked perfect biscuits and gravy. Taste like home cooked. Everything was amazing. Just wish they were open longer hours so we could enjoy them more."

- Kimala S.

"Perfectly cozy stop for lunch with possibly the BEST chicken tenders and fried okra I've ever had (and I'm from Alabama). Both perfectly seasoned, served hot, just enough crunch and tenders were juicy and delicious. Mac n Cheese was also creamy deliciousness!"

- Nadia J.

"Very yummy southern comfort cuisine. Ordered the big pine bowl and it was more than my eyes could eat! It was delicious. Staff was friendly, plenty of seating inside, just not very many parking spaces. Would definitely recommend. Just about the only breakfast spot in Marshall."
